Overview
What R-Web is
- R-Web is a template-based, all-in-one website management platform and website builder. Customers can log in to enter and edit their own information.
- It is based on an existing platform that can be further developed for a customer, rather than being built entirely from scratch.
- R-Web can be used to create promotional websites and online stores. It includes R-Web Shop with a shopping cart, R-Widget for displaying a widget on the side of the website, and a CRM system for managing sales and customer follow-up.
- Website content can include text, images, product or service details, news, and other page information.
- R-Web provides basic templates, basic online-store functionality, and selectable website templates. Smart Section templates can also create a layout similar to a Shopee storefront.
- The platform is available in different versions, and the current version may have different layouts and functions from older versions.
- R-Web supports responsive display, adjusting website information to the device screen size. An iPad or tablet can be used to view the website.
- The current version does not include a header-image function. In versions that have a header image, clicking it takes the visitor to the homepage.
Editing website content
- After successfully logging in, customers can edit website information. Changes published in R-Web appear to visitors in real time, and changes made in the system go online automatically without a separate save action.
- The Site Editor provides access to recent editing versions.
- The text editor allows users to edit text, paste copied text, and adjust text size, font, and text color. Main Content Area and A Text sections also provide font-size settings.
- The yellow background in the back-office editor indicates an editing area and is not displayed on the live website.
- Each Main Content Area section shows the date and time of its latest text edit.
- Website pages can contain images and other information. Customers can edit images within website sections, and the text editor provides a responsive file manager for stored website images.
- Image dimensions depend on the section where an image is used. An uploaded image initially appears at its original device size in the editor.
- The website design settings provide a color chart and controls for the website background, header area, and title. Changing a color setting changes that color throughout the website.
- The color of linked text follows the selected website template. H1, H2, and H3 settings control SEO-related heading structure, not text color.
- The website automatically includes a default section on every page.
Building pages with sections and menus
- Smart Section provides predefined layouts rather than a fully free-form page. It offers multiple layouts, including an image-album option, and provides more tools and interactive design options than Landing Pages.
- A Smart Section is suitable for displaying images with a small amount of information, such as one sentence. Links can be attached to both Smart Section images and text.
- Customers must choose a Smart Section template that provides the required number of blocks. Multiple Smart Sections can be added to one page or menu.
- Adding more text to a Smart Section can make the displayed text smaller; using less text can make it larger. Templates containing images and descriptions may display smaller text because those elements also use space.
- An image album section is suitable for displaying images without descriptions. Images uploaded through a Photo Album section appear as small thumbnails, and visitors can click a thumbnail to view the image in a small pop-up. Album images are arranged in the order in which they are uploaded.
- An Activity Banner option is available under the Decoration menu. A slideshow section displays images as a slideshow; it advances automatically after images are added, changes images every three seconds, and moves them toward the left.
- An A Text section can contain an image displayed at approximately the same size as the surrounding text.
- A Text menu displays only text, while an Article menu can contain article content. Articles can be created on the website, linked to an external URL, or kept in the content library and linked to a website menu.
- An article library stores articles that are not currently displayed. An article dragged from the library is treated as a menu item, and R-Web distinguishes an article-library menu item from a regular article menu item.
- A customer-created menu can contain a submenu. The submenu appears when the visitor moves the pointer over its parent menu. Submenus can also appear below the related main-menu content, in the submenu section of the main page, or in the side-menu submenu.
- Submenu display settings control how many child items are shown. An item’s image-box image appears in the submenu listing, but an image inserted into the item’s main content does not; that image can be viewed after the item is opened directly. If an item has no image, its description appears as left-aligned text.
- A new submenu can be created first, with its details added later. When Company Profile is configured as a submenu under About Us, visitors must click Company Profile to view its details.
- A static URL associated with a menu is the URL behind that menu and identifies the page it opens.
- Regular website pages can have menu tabs at the top and provide more editing choices than Landing Pages.
- A website can contain multiple product fields by reusing the section of an existing product section. Product pages can contain main product content and submenu items under the product menu or page heading.
- The current Website version does not have a separate shop system for adding products from one product catalog to multiple pages.
- Related products or menu items can be grouped with manually configured website tags. A tag page can be configured to contain all website content associated with that tag.
Adding media, links, and external code
- YouTube videos can be embedded using the video’s embed or iframe code. An embedded video can play directly on the webpage without opening a new window; embedded videos can also be configured to autoplay.
- The provided YouTube video code can display the video in a full-width box. The default embedded dimensions are provided by YouTube, and the source channel is shown with the embedded video. Video dimensions can also be adjusted in R-Web’s source-code section.
- R-Web can link a company’s YouTube channel to the website and display a Facebook page or its feed.
- Text in the text editor can be linked to a URL wherever linking text is supported. Homepage text can link to another webpage, and an Insert/Edit Link tool can link an image to a URL. Clicking linked text takes the visitor to the specified destination URL.
- External code is HTML code from outside the platform that can be installed on a webpage. The HTML Section accepts HTML or other code written externally.
- The Code and Script section applies code across all website pages and provides positions under the Head section, before the opening Body tag, and after the closing Body tag. R-Web supports placing HTML, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel code on the website.
- PDF files can be attached to a page. Visitors see the attachment as a PDF file that they can open.
- A map image can be added to a page such as About Us. One R-Web implementation option displays locations with clickable pins, and the responsive design allows users to zoom the map manually.
- Website content additions can include buttons linking to phone and LINE channels. A LINE Official Account can be displayed as an account, an @LINE account, or a barcode generated automatically. Clicking a LINE link can display a QR code for scanning with LINE.
- R-Web does not provide built-in buttons for adding extra icon buttons to a webpage.
- A promotional product pop-up can be displayed after a visitor enters the website.
Managing multiple languages
- An R-Web website can designate a primary language and additional languages. R-Web supports separate Thai and English versions and can support three languages.
- Visitors can select an available website language using the language controls. When language versions are linked, visitors can switch languages from the webpage they are viewing.
- When two languages are configured, R-Web copies the existing website data into the additional language version. The versions use different URLs; the English version uses an “en” URL prefix. The main website address is used for the primary language, while additional language versions use language-specific subdomains. An English version can use “en,” and a Thai version can use “ts.”
- When English is the primary language, the main website displays English first. Google may not display the website version corresponding to the language used in a search.
- The language selector with flag icons in the backend changes the language of the website-editing tools, not the language displayed to visitors. The editing tools support Thai and English. The flags in the Settings tab represent website page languages and are not the visitor language-switching control.
SEO and Google services
- R-Web supports SEO functionality, including AI-SEO functions, but SEO work is a separate service from website design. Staff can explain where SEO information should be entered; the customer must determine the SEO content.
- SEO settings can be provided for individual menu items, including menus created as Articles or Landing Pages. Other SEO settings apply to the overall product section or website rather than to a specific product.
- SEO fields include Title Tag, Description or Meta Description, and Meta Keywords. The title tag can appear as the first blue heading for a webpage in Google results; the meta description provides general descriptive text, and meta keywords provide keyword information.
- For overall product SEO settings, general product information is recommended in the meta description. A page SEO keyword should be a term potential customers might type into Google to find the relevant product.
- SEO effectiveness depends largely on webpage content being relevant to and consistent with the menu or topic. Adding SEO settings allows Google to crawl the website and display it in search results.
- R-Web sends a sitemap when website information is edited, and its on-page SEO settings help Google’s AI collect information from the website.
- Google Verification tells Google and its bots that a website is online and public and can help the website become visible in Google search. After verification is configured, the verification meta code is stored in the website system.
- The Google Service section in the backend contains separate headings for available Google services.
- R-Web’s website search can use product codes to find products, but the title tag, meta description, and meta keywords are more important for SEO than the product code. Google evaluates keywords and other information across search results rather than considering only the website name, and Google’s AI or bots determine which content appears in results.
Forms, members, and Webboard
- R-Web allows customers to create forms and add a form section to a website. The name of a form section can be changed.
- R-Web supports guest and member access levels. Member profiles can store information such as a member’s name, surname, and address.
- The Webboard is public, so external users can create discussion threads. It does not provide a system for locking users or IP addresses.
Access and security
- R-Web login provides access to the website system. Users access the system with an email address and the password they set. Multiple people can manage a website using the same username and password.
- R-Web has versions that use one-time passwords as a security measure. The one-time password is reported as being sent by email in one version and to a mobile phone in another.
- A new password received by email can be copied, but extra spaces should not be copied. After changing the password, the customer can log in with the website name and the newly set password.
- Website administrator information includes the website’s contact information. Removing an email address from the website does not remove the email account from the domain.
Backups, availability, and maintenance
- The backend keeps backups of previous edits that can restore an earlier website version. Website customization data is backed up.
- When the website theme changes, the previous homepage or website content is kept in the content library. The backup is identified by the homepage, date, and time, and a backup is stored each time the theme changes.
- Separate Atex sections can be added for extra content and appear consecutively on the frontend. Using a separate section preserves the original section if newly added code or content contains an error.
- Renewing the website keeps the domain name and website data usable and allows the website to return online. A website may show as expired when only the domain name has been renewed and the website service has not been renewed.
- Temporarily closing an R-Web website takes it offline and displays that it is temporarily disabled.
- Website loading performance depends on the content of the website pages.
- The service price includes server maintenance and website-use training. Server and system maintenance is provided throughout the service lifetime. Website-data protection follows ISO 27001 standards and is monitored by system engineers.
Packages, trials, and upgrades
- R-Web provides a 14-day trial. The trial includes templates and sections to test, allows users to upload images and add information, and allows them to choose sections and templates. The trial templates and sections are similar to those used by the corresponding existing website, although the trial interface may appear plain because it is a company-provided prototype.
- Website renewals have Premium, Gold, and Platinum packages. The main differences are the number of login users and the number of chat channels that can be linked.
- The website was originally provided as part of an SEO service and therefore had its default package. Changing to the Premium Package keeps existing pages, editing capabilities, and the existing website template unchanged.
- Upgrading an old website package to a new R-Web package can migrate data into the new website. Migrated data may appear in a hidden left-side menu, while R-Web serves as the new website’s main page. Submitting the new website information to Google helps Google recognize it and collect its page data.
- R-Web’s more advanced system provides faster operation, more features, expanded online-store functions, and more payment options.
- R-Web supports payment processing through providers including PayPal and Omise. The discussed payment setup supports PayPal and KBank, and customers can use Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards through the supported payment channels.
Website services and support
- Ready-made website services are available, and custom website development can be based on customer requirements. A website can be created when the customer does not already have one.
- Website development requires information such as desired main-menu items, content, images, and folder organization. Website-development information is handled separately from advertising information.
- A quotation is used for a website-creation or website-package purchase request. A website proposal can include pricing, functions, and what the customer receives each year for website maintenance.
- The initial design shown to a customer is a rough concept for reviewing mood and tone. After completion, the website is handed over with back-office login credentials; the back office allows the customer to edit information and create or change pop-ups, banners, and images.
- Usage training and a user manual are provided before handover. R-Web provides an online user manual, written usage guides, and YouTube instructional videos covering website creation, additional functions, widgets, adding data, images, and menus. The user guide is available through the member area, and a detailed website-management manual with illustrative images is available through support.
- R-Web supports customers who need help identifying where SEO information belongs, but the customer determines the SEO content to enter.
- A customer using an external domain can purchase only the Readyplanet website package.
- Website renewal is a service related to renewing a website. The website service provides website functionality rather than corporate email service.
Other platform functions
- R-Web provides an add-on setting to enable a connection to R-Shop.
- R-Web can redirect an entire website domain to another website domain.
- R-Web can share a website on Facebook by posting its website link.
- R-Web provides an article library, recent editing versions, and a notepad option for saving data entered during the trial. Webpage content can be copied to Notepad one page at a time.
- R-Web is developed to align with Windows operating system versions.
- The contact-page URL uses the website name followed by "/ติดต่อเรา".
How to
Accessing and signing in to R-Web
- Customers should consult the online manual first. From the help or question-mark icon in the upper-right corner, open the system user manual. The manual is also available through the Member Area or Member Corner, then User Guide and R-Web.
- To access the system, open the login menu from the service website, select the R-Web or RMP website login option, and enter the username and password. Depending on the setup, the username may be the registered email address, website name, domain name, or website-owner email address. Some access instructions use the website address without “www.”
- For the new R-Web system, verify access through the registered email address, central email address, or mobile number, then enter the OTP sent to that channel. After a successful login, an OTP may be sent to the registered email; it can be confirmed and a mobile number can be configured for subsequent OTPs.
- After initial setup, use the emailed access link, enter the business information, set a password, and log in. R-Web then opens the back-office page for website customization, where additional information can be entered.
- To switch businesses, click the business selector at the top of the page and select the required business under the user’s name.
- To select a language-specific backend, open R-Web from the main RMP system page and choose the Thai or English backend. For a multilingual site, log in and select the language to manage, then open that language’s back-office interface.
Resetting or changing a password
- On the R-Web login page, select Forgot password.
- Enter the requested username, registered email address, website name, or domain name, depending on the form, and select Reset password or Reset my password.
- If two reset options appear, select the lower option labeled with the website name.
- Open the reset email and follow its instructions or click the confirmation link. Some reset flows send a first email for confirmation and a second email containing the new or temporary password.
- Return to the login page and sign in with the email address and new or temporary password. If a temporary password was issued, open Member > Member Information, select Change Password, enter the temporary password as the old password, enter the new password twice, and select OK.
- After logging in with a generated password, change it to a password of the user’s choice. Another reported flow is to set the new password directly from the reset email before signing in.
- If the reset link is blocked, forward the reset email containing the link to the published support email address so an agent can try opening it. After the link is opened, check for the second email containing the new password.
- If password access still fails, try another browser, use Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome, clear all browser history and related data with
Ctrl+Shift+Delete, restart the computer, and, in one reported case, temporarily disable the antivirus while obtaining or changing the password.
Editing a page or section
- Log in and open the R-Web site editor, using the pencil or edit control when necessary.
- Open the page, article, or menu to edit. For a standard section, select its edit option; for the Main Content Area or another miscellaneous section, open the section’s gear menu and choose Edit with Text Editor.
- Edit or add the required text, image, or other content in the editor.
- Save the section or select OK.
- To edit an article, hover over the relevant website menu, open the article menu, locate Main Content Area, and add or edit the image or text there.
- To add a section, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add Section. Choose the required type, such as A Text, Form, Photo Album, Smart Section, Slideshow, HTML, Attachment, Price, or another available section.
- To add a Smart Section, select Add Section, choose Smart Section, select a layout, and add an image. To add a Form section, add a section and select Form.
- To add text and an image in an A Text section, add the section, open its gear menu and text editor, select the image insertion control, insert the image, remove placeholder text if it is not needed, and save. The text can instead be moved into A Text and the image placed beside it.
- To add a section effect, add the section, enter the information, and select the required effect.
- To copy a prepared section, create the section and its images and links, open its source-code option, copy the source code, and paste it into another section.
- To delete a section, open its gear menu and select Delete Section or Delete This Section. To delete an unwanted submenu display box, delete the section containing it and add a new Showbox section with the desired items.
Creating, arranging, hiding, and deleting menus
- Add a new menu or open the gear icon for the relevant parent menu.
- Choose the option to add a menu under the selected menu. For a third-level menu, open the parent menu and select Add Menu after the existing item.
- Select the appropriate type, such as Article, Article/Product, or the shopping-cart menu for an existing R-Shop product.
- Enter the menu or page name, tags if required, and any article or product content. Press Enter after each tag.
- Save the menu. Refresh the website if the new submenu is not immediately visible.
- To create a regular page, add a menu item, enter its name, save it, and add a section such as a Smart Section.
- If the menu-type dialog does not offer Photo Album, select Article, name the article menu, open it, add a Photo Album section, and upload the images.
- To create article groups, create a top-level Article menu for each group and place it in Content Library. To add an article under an existing group, use the parent menu’s gear icon and Add Side Menu, select Article, enter the title and content, save it, and place it in the appropriate Content Library group. A new group should be a separate top-level menu rather than a side menu.
- To display an article-library item, select it in Content Library, drag it to the top website menu, and release it when the yellow placement box appears. To hide an article, move it to Content Library.
- To change a menu name, open its gear icon, edit the name, and save. To change a page URL, edit the corresponding menu name. To use a static URL, open the menu’s gear settings and select the Static URL option with a matching name.
- To move a menu, point to its square dropdown control, click and hold the menu, and drag it to the desired position. Submenus can be moved by expanding the parent menu, clicking and holding the submenu, and dragging it to the desired position under that parent.
- To remove a menu, select it and choose Delete, or open its gear icon and select Delete Menu. Check first whether the menu contains content. Deleting a Webboard menu is treated as disabling it; create the menu and a new Webboard again if it is needed later.
Creating and managing article content
- Add a menu and select Article.
- Enter the article details or content and save the menu.
- Add sections to the article page. Select Smart Section when a layout is needed, upload the required content and images, and add the required links.
- If the article is intended for Content Library, rename it to the desired grouping title, save it, and drag it into Content Library. Link it from Content Library to the relevant menu section when required.
- To add an article below an existing article menu, use the parent menu’s gear icon and Add Side Menu, select Article, enter the title and content, and save.
- To create an article group such as a second numbered group, create another top-level Article menu and place it in Content Library.
- To create an article with a specified layout, add a section, select a three-image Smart Section layout, edit and save the images, and link the images to the relevant articles.
- To add another article to an existing article section, add another section of the same type and link the new article to it.
Adding and replacing images
- Save the image on the computer or device.
- Open the relevant section’s image or text-editor interface.
- Select the upload or image-insertion control. If using the file manager, select Browse Server, Choose File, and the image file, then upload it.
- Save the section. If the image does not appear, close and reopen the section editor.
- In a Photo Album, select Add Section, choose Photo Album, select the files, and upload them. Additional batches can contain up to 10 files.
- To add an image in the Main Content Area, open the section with Edit with Text Editor, use the image insertion control, and select the file. A file that cannot be uploaded may need to be prepared externally and sent to support for assistance.
- To replace an image, open the section, remove the old image, insert the replacement, link it to the required destination if needed, and save. A missing image can also be selected through the responsive file manager by opening the image source field and using the magnifying-glass control.
- To remove an image from a Main Content Area, open the section’s gear menu and text editor, highlight the entire image, press Delete or Backspace, and save.
- To add a text-sized image, create an A Text section, open its text editor, insert the image, remove unneeded placeholder text, save, and drag the A Text section below the related text.
- To add a group of social-media icons, insert each icon as a separate image and link each one individually. A table with width set to 100 percent can be used, with one image in each cell.
- To correct a potentially misaligned table image, delete the image and insert it again. Another reported method is to download the image again and create a new table.
- To inspect image dimensions, check the Dimension value in the Insert Image interface, open Source Code in the text editor, or open the original file on the computer. Images needing inspection can be sent to the published support email address so staff can compare the original dimensions.
- To rename an image that will not upload, right-click it on the computer, choose Rename, use a shorter name, and try uploading it again.
- To reuse an image from the website, disable right-click protection in Settings > General, copy or save the image, upload it to the R-Web file library, link it to the relevant button, then re-enable right-click protection and save.
Managing slideshows
- Log in, scroll to the bottom of the page, select Add Section, and choose Slideshow.
- Add images to the slideshow.
- To add another image later, open the slideshow gear menu, select the plus icon, choose the image option, configure the slideshow, upload the image, select Normal Display, and save.
- To replace an image, open Slideshow Settings, select Edit Image for the relevant image, make the change, and save.
- To remove an image, select Edit Image and click the minus icon.
- To move a slideshow, select its name until it is highlighted yellow, then drag it to the desired position, including the top of the page.
- The same slideshow must be created separately on another page if it is to be displayed there.
Adding links to text, images, contact details, and buttons
- Open the relevant section in Site Editor or Text Editor.
- Highlight the text or select the image or button.
- Select the chain-shaped Insert/Edit Link control.
- Enter the destination in the URL field and select OK or Insert.
- Save the editor changes and use preview or the normal website view to test the link.
- For a telephone link, enter
tel:followed by the telephone number. For an email link, entermailto:followed by the destination email address. - To link a LINE Official Account, enter a URL in the format
http://line.me/ti/p/%40followed by the LINE ID. Enter the LINE ID without the@symbol because the URL already contains its encoded form. - To link an image, select the image, open Insert/Edit Link, and paste the destination URL.
- To link a product image, open the product page, copy its browser URL, return to the editor, select the image, paste the URL into the image link field, confirm, and save. The product page can also be opened from the content library before copying its URL.
- To retain a product link while replacing its image, copy the product page URL first, insert the replacement image, select it, add the retained URL, confirm, and save. Delete the old image and save if it is no longer needed.
- To create a clickable phone number, select the number, use the chain icon, enter the
tel:link, insert it, save, and test it with the viewer eye icon. If only one number should remain, delete the extra number and bind the remaining number to the call link. - To change the number in a left-side contact button, contact the provider responsible for that button function.
- To edit a button such as More, select the button, choose its edit option, and enter the destination URL.
Embedding YouTube videos and other HTML
- Open the YouTube video. For a regular video, select Share, then Embed, and copy the embed or iFrame code. For a Shop or Short video, right-click the video and select the option to copy its embed code.
- In R-Web, open the page where the video will appear.
- Use an existing Text Editor section, such as Main Content Area or HTML, or add a new HTML section.
- Open the section’s gear menu, select Edit with Text Editor, open Tools, and select Source Code.
- Paste the copied code into Source Code and select OK or Save.
- For a Short video, return to the normal editor, select or highlight the video, and choose center alignment.
- An alternative embedding instruction is to enter the video URL ID.
- To place videos in table cells, create a three-column table, click in the target cell, enter a temporary character, open source-code view, replace the character with the video code, and return to normal table view before repeating the process in the next cell.
- To embed a video in an article, open the article editor, select Source, place the cursor at the insertion point, add a space or line breaks, paste the entire iFrame code, and select OK.
- To add an external button or icon, obtain its HTML code, add an HTML section, and insert the code. External HTML code can also be installed for a pop-up shown before visitors enter the website.
- Obtain required widgets, scripts, or other code from the relevant service provider before adding them. Enter the code in the designated fields according to the required format.
- To add code or scripts, open Settings > Code and Scripts, open the Head code section when required, paste the code, and save. To add a widget, paste its code under Head, save, reset the page, and refresh the English-language page after correcting the code.
- To display a Facebook page, obtain its iframe code and install it in the R-Web back office.
Editing product pages and product displays
- To display an R-Shop product category, open the Product Category element, open the gear icon behind the product-checking option, select the category, select the relevant section or product, and save.
- To add a product or submenu, open the relevant menu’s gear icon, select Add Menu Under This Menu, choose Article/Product, enter the name and any tags, and save. Open the new product page, select Add Section, choose More, and select Price to add a price.
- To display submenu items under a product, open the product page, select Add Section, choose More, and select Submenus Under This Topic.
- To add another product field matching an existing Section 35, identify the existing section, select Add Section, choose the plus sign for Section 35, open Smart Section, select Smart Section 35, and click the plus sign to add it.
- To replace a product-category image while retaining its link, open Products and Services > Product Categories, open the relevant Smart Section, copy the product page URL, insert the replacement image, select it, add the copied URL with Insert/Edit Link, confirm, and save. Delete the old image and save if necessary.
- To add an image to the third cell of Smart Section 999, place the cursor in that cell, select Insert Image, and choose the image.
- To place an order, open the individual product page, click the button displaying the product price, and choose the required quantity. When retaining a product submenu page, keep only brief distinguishing information such as size or properties rather than copying the full parent description.
- To edit product or migrated content, open the R-Web home page, open the second arrow in the left menu, select the migrated product or menu item, and edit or delete it as needed.
Restoring earlier content or backups
- Open the Home menu or the relevant page in the editor.
- Open the latest edit record, gray latest-edit bar, or edit-history tab near the gear icon.
- Review the available dates and times or backups.
- Select the desired version or backup.
- Select Restore this version or restore the selected backup, then check the website.
- After changing a theme, open Content Library, select the homepage backup identified by its date and time, and choose it to display the previous content with the new theme. A backed-up page can also be selected from Content Library and sections can then be added to modify the site.
- Restoring a backup may be used to check whether links return. If a website displays a blank page after damage, contact support so the latest available backup can be restored.
Changing colors, themes, headers, and display styling
- To change website colors, open Decoration or Decorate, open Theme, Smart Theme, Overall Style, or the color-scheme settings, and edit the required positions in Color Set Details. Available categories include menu text, mouse-over text, button text, main heading, and secondary heading.
- To change a secondary-heading color, open Decorate > Smart Theme, open Color Scheme Details, scroll to Secondary Heading, and select its color.
- Another color workflow is Design > design settings: choose or enter the color code, then select Save and Apply to Website.
- To change the website background, open Basic Website Settings > Colors, choose a Website Background Color, and save. If no background image is displayed, select a Header Background Color matching the website background and save.
- To change a Smart Section background image, locate the section, reveal the inner gear icon by moving the pointer near the visible gear, and use the inner gear to edit the background image. A single-color image matching the website background can be created and uploaded to replace an unwanted image.
- To remove grayscale styling, open Settings > Code and Scripts, open the Head code, copy and save the grayscale code if it may be needed later, then delete it and save. Alternatively, change the grayscale percentage, such as from 70% to 0% or 100%, and test the result.
- To change a Showbox format, hover over its solid-colored box, open the revealed gear menu, and select Change box format.
- To permanently change selected text color, highlight the text in the editor and use the text-color control to choose the desired color.
- To edit a header image, open Website Management > Basic Website Settings > Manage Header Images and Logos, select Header Image Display, open the file set, upload the new image, and select OK. To hide the logo over the header image, return to that area, select Do Not Display Logo under Select Layout, and save.
- To change a favicon, open website administration settings, open Favicon, and upload or insert the desired logo image.
- To disable the mourning symbol, open Manage Website > Basic Website Settings, scroll to the bottom, and disable the setting.
Managing website access and availability
- To temporarily close the website, open Settings, select the wrench icon, open General > Access, select the temporary-close option, and save. The same setting is available in General settings under Visits as Temporarily close website.
- To request permanent closure, send a message from the registered email-owner address to the published support email address stating that the website should be closed. Include the website URL in the message. The website is closed after the request is received.
- To change the email used for OTPs, log in and open Settings > Account, or open Profile > Security and edit the OTP phone number or email address. If the back office cannot be accessed, the owner must send a request from the owner’s email address identifying the website and the new OTP phone number; staff will change it after receiving the request.
- Backend access by staff or another department requires an email request to the authorized person. The authorized person must approve it or select Accept in the request email.
- To obtain remote assistance, open the User Guide’s R-Web Contact Us page and download AnyDesk for the computer’s operating system. Open it, provide the displayed Your Address number to the agent, and accept the remote-access request. If the program is not installed, use the emailed download link, install and open it, provide the displayed address, and select Allow and then Accept when prompted.
- A website can be edited from a computer or mobile device. If Simple mode menus are unavailable, switch to the other editing mode and use its basic settings area.
Editing SEO and Google settings
- Open R-Web and locate the relevant menu, such as the homepage.
- Hover over the menu and select its gear icon.
- Choose SEO Settings.
- Edit the SEO details, including the title tag. Choose an SEO keyword by considering the term a customer would use when searching for the product.
- Save the changes.
- To investigate an unexpected website name, open Homepage > gear icon > SEO settings and check the Title Tag field.
- After updating SEO or website information, submit the sitemap to Google so Google can crawl and collect the website again. After an update or the website returns online, resubmit the sitemap so the new site can replace the old site in search results.
- To check Google verification, open Settings, select Google Tools, and inspect the Google Site Verification Meta Tag field. To add a verification code, paste it into that field and save.
- To review configured Google services, log in, open Basic Settings, and open Google Service.
Managing languages and language links
- The website language must be configured in the relevant R-Web setting to determine the language visitors use.
- To add a language button, hover over the menu bar to display the far-right gear icon, select the language-change-button setting, select the country, enter a label such as the language name or
EN, and enter the URL copied from the language-specific webpage. - To edit a language version, log in, select the required language, and open its back-office editing interface. One reported workflow is to open the English page, copy the Thai page content into it, and manually translate the copied content into English.
- After the homepage is changed to English, Thai can be configured as the second language and Chinese as the third language.
- To make three language versions online, add the IP or CNAME value for each language in domain management. To keep only the main language online, remove the linked values for the other language versions. The language versions can be built simultaneously or one at a time.
Troubleshooting display and editor problems
- Set the browser zoom to 100 percent with the plus control beside the magnifying-glass icon. If the display remains incorrect, clear the browser cache and reopen the website, or press
Ctrl+F5and reopen it. On a tablet, clear the browser cache or restart the tablet. - To clear the cache while troubleshooting a trial-registration failure, press
Ctrl+Shift+Delete. If registration continues to fail with one email address, try another email address. - If right-clicking a table does not work in Chrome, open the editor in Firefox. Alternatively, open the article editor’s Source view, press
Ctrl+F, search fortable, move through the results, locate the table with width 200, change it to 100%, select OK, and complete the table information before adjusting images. - To set a table width to 100%, open the relevant submenu category, select the table’s column properties, choose percent as the unit, set the width to 100%, and select OK. For an existing table, select it, right-click, choose Table Properties, set the width to 100%, and save. To remove a column, select it, right-click, and choose Delete Column.
- To remove faulty DVD code, log in, open the bottom section containing the code, copy and save it, remove it, and check whether the page loads normally. To locate it, open Tools > Source Code and search for
DVDwithCtrl+F. - To remove a displayed tab, open the menu editing screen and click the tab’s X.
- To paste plain text, copy it, click the target editing area, and press
Ctrl+V. If formatting causes a problem, copy the text, paste it into the computer’s Notepad application, copy it again, and paste it into R-Web.
Renewing, upgrading, or connecting a website
- To renew for one year, select the annual renewal option, enter the website name in the payment note, enter the payer’s name and contact email, confirm the information, enter the card number, and continue with payment. Staff process the renewal after payment.
- Pay according to the quotation and send proof of payment through the published support email address or chat. For bank transfer, obtain the bank details from the website, send the payment slip, and provide the domain or website name. Staff coordinate the request and notify the customer through chat. Renewal invoice questions are transferred to the renewal department.
- If the customer cannot update the email address, provide the preferred renewal-notification address to staff for coordination. After the website becomes accessible, the account email can be changed from the back office.
- To continue after the trial period, purchase an R-Web package and tell staff that the trial was previously used. If trial registration fails, another email address may be used. A customer with an existing domain can provide that domain to staff.
- To downgrade a package, support coordinates with the renewals team and provides the downgrade information.
- To connect a domain, provide the IP and CNAME values supplied for the website to the new name-server provider. After the provider completes the configuration, bind the domain in the R-Web back office. The service fee is paid through the assigned sales representative, who sends the request to support to put the website online.
- To move to the upgraded platform, create a new website, enter the website information again, and perform SEO work again. After migration, review and update the migrated products and menu items, delete unwanted items, and resubmit the sitemap to Google.
- To improve loading performance, reduce the size of images or other files.
Troubleshooting
Logging in or resetting an R-Web password
- If the password is forgotten or considered incorrect, reset it from the R-Web login page and follow the instructions in the password-reset email.
- When the login reports that the username or password is incorrect, re-enter the credentials and type the email username entirely in lowercase letters.
- An outdated Chrome browser may cause a correct login attempt to display an incorrect-credentials message. If an Internal Server Error appears after entering the correct credentials, try another browser or a private/incognito window.
- The account login OTP is sent to the phone number registered for the account. Access may be blocked if that number belongs to a former employee.
- If an antivirus program blocks the password-reset link or prevents login, the block may be caused by the antivirus software on the device. Kaspersky was identified as one possible cause.
Refreshing pages after changes
- Changes made in R-Web may not appear on a mobile phone because the mobile browser has cached an older version of the website:
- Close the existing website tab.
- Reopen the website in a new tab.
- A website displayed as a single enlarged image on a computer or tablet may be showing an old browser setting or cached page.
- If a header image remains duplicated after the logo is hidden, press
Ctrl+F5to reload the website. - If a replacement image does not appear, refresh the page and verify that the edit was saved.
- Changing the display size causes the R-Web editor to reload the webpage.
Editing, saving, and restoring website content
- Text edits in the website are applied automatically online and normally do not require a Save button. However, changes made in Text Editor are not saved until Save is clicked.
- Direct editing in the page editor can save an accidental deletion immediately. Using Text Editor prevents changes from being saved until Save is clicked.
- An image inserted into the website becomes visible only after the changes are confirmed or saved.
- An image deleted in the Site Editor cannot be recovered through a direct undo after the deletion has been saved.
- If a newly added image section cannot be inserted in the desired position, the section may need to be removed.
- If the section gear icon is not visible, the display may be zoomed or resized.
- Editing an R-Web website simultaneously from multiple devices can cause system errors and distorted displays.
- On Windows 7, R-Web malfunctions or unavailable functions may be resolved by upgrading Windows to a current version such as Windows 11.
Fixing image upload and display problems
- Upload images through the website editor instead of copying and pasting them.
- An image upload may fail when the image file is too large.
- If an image inserted through the text editor is too large, resize it outside R-Web and insert it again. The R-Web text editor cannot resize an inserted image.
- Images and other files can affect website loading performance.
- Compressing a large, high-resolution AI-generated image can reduce its sharpness and make text in the image blurry.
- Images shown in an R-Web article section do not appear when the corresponding articles have no image entered in their Main Content Area.
- If a website section’s background is accidentally changed to a plain blue background, the blue background image may need to be added again.
- A missing LINE button or LINE icon image can be addressed by uploading or replacing the image and recreating its LINE link.
- When right-click protection is enabled, visitors cannot right-click and copy an image from the website.
Correcting table and image alignment
- Images in a website table can become misaligned or table cells can have uneven heights when the table is accidentally altered. Cursor placement, accidental key presses, or pressing Enter while the cursor is in the table can cause this problem.
- Changing a table’s width or length during editing can also make it misaligned.
- Keeping four images in a website table at the same size can help prevent misalignment. The large horizontal image below them does not need to be the same size.
- Images with different original dimensions appear at different sizes in a table, even when the table width is set to 100 percent.
- A table may not display at full width on different devices when its width is not set to 100 percent. Setting the width to 100 percent does not necessarily enlarge all design elements proportionally, and text content can also affect the result.
- Right-clicking in a table may not work in Chrome.
- In R-Web, choosing Delete Table removes the entire table rather than only one column.
Embedding and displaying videos
- Paste YouTube embed code through the Source Code tool. Pasting it directly into the editor displays the code instead of the video.
- If the OK action cannot be completed without an error message, refresh the R-Web page and try copying and pasting the embed code into Source Code again. The customer’s internet connection may also contribute to the problem.
- Change the numbers in the video’s source code to edit the embedded video dimensions.
- An embedded YouTube iframe may exceed the mobile screen because the iframe code may not automatically adapt to mobile devices. Making it display differently on mobile requires custom code, which may need to be sourced externally.
- เว็บไซต์สำเร็จรูป does not directly support MP4 video files. If an embedded video displays an error, delete the inserted iframe code.
Fixing menus, sections, and submenu content
- If a menu is visible to support but not to the customer on a computer, try another browser or log in again. A menu that does not appear may also have been created under the wrong menu.
- If submenu items do not appear below a main-menu page, add the section for other items under the same heading.
- On mobile devices, content under a submenu may not be visible until the parent menu is expanded.
- Content added in a training course’s Main Content Area is separate from submenu items and does not automatically appear as a submenu item.
- If clicking an article menu opens the homepage, remove the homepage URL from the menu.
- If newly added articles overlap or conflict with older articles, organize them under separate parent article menus, such as “Articles 1–10” and “Articles 11–20.”
- Deleting a Section removes it immediately, and adding a Section makes it appear immediately.
- Deleting a Webboard menu removes the existing discussion threads. If the Webboard should not be displayed or used to create unwanted threads, delete the Webboard.
Changing themes and templates
- Changing the R-Web theme changes the website’s homepage. The existing homepage is backed up to the Content Library, so a new homepage must be created.
- A theme change does not remove the website’s SEO because it affects the theme rather than the internal content.
- Changing the website template can change the color of linked text.
- Showbox display problems may be caused by the selected theme or by the content of the linked article; check these settings individually.
- Changing text color in the text editor does not create a separate hover color. The text keeps its configured color.
Fixing website layout and code problems
- HTML or code inserted into an R-Web HTML Section may not render correctly, depending on the code.
- Custom HTML that does not follow the specified format can distort the layout or create overlapping web content.
- A slow-loading page can be caused by problematic DVD code installed on the page.
- If links disappear from images, incomplete or truncated code copied into an Atex section may cause the image links to be removed automatically.
- If the website is handed over and later develops a problem, support performs an initial check. Required correction work may incur a separately assessed charge.
Fixing text, fonts, and language content
- Pasted text may be invisible when its font color is white. Text copied from another website may retain white formatting.
- Paste copied content into Notepad to remove the original formatting and produce black text.
- If an article’s font does not match the intended formatting, adjust its Font Family and its heading or paragraph style in the editor.
- The Extra Content Section does not allow font-size configuration, so text there may appear small.
- Entering Chinese website content may require downloading the relevant language input, and staff consultation may be needed because the Chinese-language procedure may vary.
- The language-copying service copies source-page content but does not automatically translate it.
- If language versions are not linked, Google will not capture their information, the versions will not appear in the language bar, and visitors will see only the main language version.
Fixing contact links and language widgets
- Telephone numbers and LINE details on a contact page must have links configured before visitors can click them to call or open LINE.
- A phone link may fail when its URL uses
//instead of the colon in thetel:scheme. Remove the slashes and use only the colon. - If the English button does not appear, the Thai widget code may have been copied. Replace it with the English widget code and refresh the English-language page.
- When a Smart Section is not wanted for a link, attach the link directly to an image on the webpage.
Finding products and prices from R-Shop
- A product category or product may be missing from the R-Web display selector because R-Web does not show the R-Shop back-office category or folder organization used for the product.
- Old products on a new R-Web website may have been migrated from the old website.
- If a parent product page displays a price and its submenu items also have prices, remove the parent page’s price section to avoid a duplicate price.
- The current Website version is maintained for stability, but its product-ordering functionality remains based on the existing Website format.
- If the R-Shop connection is not enabled in R-Web, a website section may disappear.
Checking website and SEO information in Google
- An R-Web website may not appear in Google search results if its visibility has not been enabled.
- SEO changes may not appear immediately because Google must collect the updated information. Google may display text from another part of the website instead of the Title Tag.
- Google may continue displaying an old phone number after it has been updated in R-Web because Google has not refreshed its stored website information. The update time cannot be specified because it depends on when Google sends a bot to collect the new information.
- Search visibility can vary by browser, device, and the results shown at a particular time or on a particular day. Competitor websites may appear when they use the same or similar keywords, and Google image results may include multiple websites using the same keyword.
- If the website appears with a generic “Company” logo in Google results, investigate whether the website image has been configured in R-Web.
- Investigate the website name through the homepage SEO settings and its Title Tag field.
- An existing SEO ranking may drop during an R-Web upgrade.
- If a website is renewed after being expired for about a month, Google may treat it as a new website and need to recrawl it before restoring its ranking. If Google crawled it while it was expired and unavailable, Google may replace it with other websites in search results.
Checking URLs and domain settings
- A menu may show both a numeric URL and a menu-name URL leading to the same page. A URL without the numeric segment may be an older URL from before the menu URL changed.
- If a menu does not display the SEO settings option, check the menu type in the website back office. A menu created as an article can display SEO settings even when other menus do not.
- An incorrectly formatted URL sent by Facebook can cause a page to display an error saying it cannot be viewed.
- Removing the configured domain in R-Web may make the website unavailable and cause the website name to disappear.
- Changing a domain’s Name Server can affect website availability if the website’s online records are not configured with the new Name Server provider.
Checking special website settings
- The mourning symbol displayed on a website is controlled by a setting in Basic Website Settings.
- The grayscale appearance in R-Web is controlled by code in the section under Head.
- An old phone number in another website location may belong to a separate section rather than the lower gray section.
- R-Web content adjusted on a computer automatically adapts to mobile devices according to the device’s screen size.
Restoring access after renewal or payment
- After renewal payment is completed and proof of payment is submitted, access to the website system can be restored on the same day.
- If the payment-slip email cannot be found, add Readyplanet on LINE and send the payment slip through the chat.
- A previous website access-system issue affected multiple customers and was resolved by the relevant team.
- The website can continue to be used normally while the backend displays the backend system because the user is viewing the backend.
Troubleshooting registration and language access
- An email address previously used to register the free RNT package may be rejected when used to register for R-Web again.
Policies and rules
Account access, login, and security
- The R-Web username is the website name. When logging in, enter only the domain name in the username field, without the website path or email address.
- A password must be set before accessing R-Web. Passwords may include numbers; using English letters together with numbers is recommended.
- The account owner's email address is required for login and access recovery. The login and password-recovery email is linked to the website account.
- R-Web sends an OTP whenever a user logs in or accesses the back office. Access to the account email address is therefore required.
- The new R-Web system uses two-factor authentication. R-Web does not retain or disclose customer passwords; the system generates and sends them to the registered email address.
- OTP verification can be disabled, but this reduces security. Anyone who knows the password may then be able to access the back office, although the password is still required.
- The OTP email address is associated with the email used for the website's contact information. It can be changed while logged in without supporting documents. If support changes it on the customer's behalf, supporting documents are required.
- After an OTP phone number is configured or changed, subsequent OTPs are sent to that phone instead of the email address.
- The email address for renewal information may be different from the email address used for OTPs.
- An administrator or account owner may need to handle access recovery because staff cannot disclose the account owner's information to another user.
- One email address can access multiple businesses or websites.
Purchasing, packages, upgrades, and renewals
- The starting package and the 9,500-baht option support one language, which may be Thai or English. The former R-Web version priced at just over 4,000 baht is no longer sold.
- R-Web can be purchased for a one-year or two-year term. Renewals are charged annually, and the one-year renewal price can vary from year to year.
- The service must be paid for before the website is brought online. Editing website information or bringing a website online under a website name requires a package and applicable service fee; a website cannot be created free of charge.
- A customer may use a domain registered with another provider.
- Renewal is completed after payment proof is received. The renewal price does not change after the quotation's validity date if payment is made before the service expires.
- If the service is not renewed, it ends. The website may be left to close automatically when it expires; a website that has not yet expired can still be used.
- An expired website is taken offline and visitors see a page-not-found message. It can be renewed within 30 days after expiration, and its data is not deleted during that period. Renewal around 27 or 28 days after expiration is advised to allow time for processing.
- Starting R-Web again after the service ends requires purchasing a new package.
- Temporarily closing a website is separate from downgrading its package.
- When upgrading, the amount already paid for the current year is deducted from the first upgrade charge. All website information must be entered again.
- SEO from the current package does not carry over to a different package. Data cannot be copied to an upgraded package when the packages use different versions.
- The amount and duration of promotion guarantees depend on the applicable promotion. The previous promotion guaranteed results for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months; the July promotion guarantees results only for 6 or 12 months.
- Customers who discussed the promotion near the end of the previous month but had not decided could use it until July 30. To use the extension, they could sign the promotion and pay the first installment by the applicable deadline. If payment could not be completed by that deadline, another 30 days could be provided as a credit, provided the promotion was accepted within the current month.
Closing or deleting websites, menus, sections, and files
- Deleting a file, linked data, image, article, menu, section, or HTML Section is permanent and cannot be undone or recovered from a backup. Confirm the deletion before proceeding.
- An unused menu item can be deleted. If its content should be retained, move it to Content Library instead.
- An article or menu that contains content cannot be deleted and later recovered. An article that is not kept in Content Library must be displayed in the website menu; articles no longer needed can be deleted. Retained articles can remain in Content Library, although arranging numerous retained articles requires additional menu-management steps.
- A menu must exist before it can be dragged into Content Library. Moving an existing article menu into Content Library does not require a separate menu or side menu. A menu already in Content Library can have additional menus added beneath it directly.
- Closing a left-side menu item hides it from the website without deleting its data. Removing a displayed tab may also require removing its associated menu.
- An unused homepage section can be deleted, but the default Main Content Area section that appears on every page cannot be deleted.
- An HTML Section can be deleted but cannot be restored after deletion. Code inserted into it may not be modifiable by support.
- To request deletion of a website page, submit the request details by email. To close a free R-Web website, submit a closure request by email.
- To close a paid Website, the email owner address is required to verify the customer's information. A Website and its Domain Name continue under their existing term unless the customer requests closure before the term ends.
Changing themes and website layouts
- Customers can change the theme of an existing website without purchasing a new website. The choice depends on the customer's preferred design, and support does not change the template on the customer's behalf.
- Changing a theme changes the colors, images, and Smart Sections and replaces the homepage with the new theme's default sections. The website's data and content in other menus remain available.
- R-Web does not provide a separate preview or draft system for testing a different layout before applying changes.
- R-Web cannot be customized beyond the templates available in the package and does not provide a template that exactly replicates the appearance of a Shopee storefront.
- The homepage should remain the homepage rather than being replaced by an Education Fair page, because changing the homepage could affect the website.
- Editing and customizing an R-Web website requires a laptop computer. Website image settings may need to be configured on a PC because the relevant function or menu may not be available on mobile devices.
- With responsive display enabled, separate computer and mobile versions cannot be configured independently. Customizations apply to both computer and mobile displays, and the customer must configure mobile display settings themselves.
- A new website project can begin when required information, such as images and content, is available. Design work does not include providing website content or ongoing annual maintenance; the customer is responsible for providing or producing replacement images.
Managing menus, sections, and content
- Editing information on an existing website does not require recreating its menus. Menu editing includes a Save action.
- An article menu can be saved without tags. Tags are optional, and an article used as a content-grouping menu can be saved without entering a URL link.
- The existing five-bedroom pool-villa menu does not need to be deleted when adding its submenu.
- A linked article must have a content heading for its text to appear in Showbox. The content heading is treated as a heading and may duplicate an H1 heading in the article.
- If content is set not to display, the text content is hidden but the product itself is not hidden.
- R-Web cannot print a webpage together with the ordering of its submenu items. Copying webpage content to Notepad does not include submenu ordering; that ordering is part of the back-end system and cannot be printed or edited through the described copying process.
- The number of blocks in a Smart Section is determined by the system template. Smart Section text size cannot be adjusted directly.
- Changing Smart Section text color applies across the entire website. Changing a Secondary Heading color applies to all menus using that heading style, not only one section.
- An R-Web section cannot be placed beside another section; it must be placed above or below it. If text and images are in separate sections, the image section can be placed below the text section. If they are in the same section, the image cannot be placed separately below the text within that section.
- The default section that appears on every page cannot be deleted.
- An image cannot be added as an emoji in the discussed section.
Languages and language switching
- The starting package is suitable for a one-language website. Multiple-language website content must be entered separately for each language, and R-Web does not automatically translate copied data between English and Thai.
- The main language version should be completed before, or instead of, the other language versions. Customers must enter translated content themselves.
- A language-change button is displayed only on websites configured with multiple languages. Its label must be entered as text rather than as an image.
- The language-switching button must be linked or configured before visitors can switch between the Thai and English versions.
- The language of the editing tools is visible to administrators and not to website visitors.
SEO and URLs
- R-Web product menus do not display SEO settings. The gear icon and SEO option may also be unavailable for some types of website menu items, including link-type menus.
- Separate SEO settings are not available for individual product categories or individual products.
- Changing a product code one product at a time affects the existing SEO.
- SEO settings should correspond to the information on the relevant website page. The editor recommends setting the Title Tag, Meta Description, and Meta Keyword for each page; adding tags is optional.
- R-Web does not provide a tool for redirecting individual menu pages or URLs, including 301 redirects, and does not support redirecting one page to another within the same website.
- Changing a menu's URL can make previously shared or published versions of the old URL inaccessible.
- R-Web does not provide a separate code-placement area for individual pages or subpages.
Images and media
- Supported image files include JPG/JPEG, GIF, and PNG. WEBP files are not currently supported.
- Images should be prepared at matching dimensions before upload. This is required when images should display at the same size in a table, and is recommended before adding images to a website section.
- Images for homepage display must be added to the Main Content Area of each article that should show an image on the homepage.
- An image used on the website should be saved as an image file, such as PNG, rather than as an HTML document.
- Images stored through the section editor can be reused only in that editor. They must be uploaded again for other areas, such as Smart Section.
- Deleting an image from the editor cannot be undone. Removing one image from a row in the discussed Smart Section leaves an empty space.
- Images sent for inspection may come from any email address used by the customer's organization. Images sent through LINE cannot be downloaded as original files for inspection, so the original files must be sent by email.
- R-Web cannot place locally uploaded video files directly on a webpage; videos can be added only from YouTube. Interactions such as Like and Share are handled on YouTube rather than within R-Web.
- A displayed Facebook page takes visitors to that Facebook page. R-Web does not directly integrate with Facebook pages.
- Readyplanet's role for a YouTube video is limited to uploading it and does not include modifying website code.
- The width and height of an embedded video can be adjusted by changing the corresponding values in its iframe code.
Links, contact details, fonts, and custom code
- Email text normally does not require a link. Phone numbers, Facebook links, and LINE IDs can be linked; when several telephone numbers appear in one section, each must be linked individually.
- A font file cannot be inserted as a separate uploaded file. System fonts cannot be deleted, while fonts added through external HTML code can be removed.
- Custom HTML code cannot replace or overwrite a Smart Section. Whether other custom code can be added depends on the code.
- R-Web does not support uploading external files such as HTML or robots.txt files through its file manager. It may have limitations when connecting to external systems through an API because it is a ready-made platform.
- WordPress plugins cannot be used with R-Web.
- The contact button on the left side of the website is operated by Auto Digital or another provider, not by R-Web.
Products, payments, and external services
- The website service described does not include payment acceptance. CRM is for sales management and customer follow-up, not payment processing.
- Using multiple payment providers can result in fees from both providers; choosing one payment provider was recommended.
- To display different prices for different colors or sizes in the current Website version, create each color and size as a separate submenu item. Products in a mixed-color promotion must be handled as separate color items rather than one combined order item.
- After products are reordered in R-Shop, select the corresponding category again in R-Web so the website display retrieves the updated order.
- More than one LINE Official Account or more than one Facebook page requires a package higher than the R-Web Premium Package.
- R-Web does not directly transfer data from Shopee into Readyplanet.
Support and editing responsibilities
- When requesting website assistance, provide the website name and describe the requested change.
- Support can provide instructions for editing R-Web but cannot make the edit on the customer's behalf. Support can advise on using R-Web but does not advise on arranging or designing the page layout.
- Website editing should be performed by one person on one device at a time.
- The website owner must log in to the back office for another person to view the templates. Viewing the templates requires back-office access.
- Remote inspection or operation of a customer's computer may be performed through AnyDesk after the customer accepts the remote-access request.
- The R-Web user guide cannot be downloaded and must be read on the webpage.
- Social media support initially provides recommendations, with adjustments planned for specified periods rather than immediate ongoing management.
- Advertising spend is charged separately when advertising features are used.
Limits and quotas
Uploading files and images
- Up to 10 files can be uploaded at one time in the website editor.
- An individual file uploaded to an R-Web section must not exceed 10 MB.
- Image files uploaded to R-Web must not exceed 5 MB. A separate limit of 1 MB applies to the website image, and an image inserted into website content after resizing must not exceed 500 KB.
- A table with four icon cells requires four separate image uploads.
Image dimensions and aspect ratios
- Image dimensions depend on the section type. R-Web displays the required dimensions when an image is added to a Smart Section, and slideshow-section dimensions differ from Smart Section dimensions.
- The recommended size for a slideshow or full-screen rotating hero-banner image is 1,800 by 600 pixels. Slideshow image sizing is specified in pixels.
- An image displayed in a standard frame is recommended to be approximately 310 by 180 pixels.
- Gallery thumbnails below an enlarged image can be any size, but a 1:1 aspect ratio is recommended so they appear square.
- Product images in a product showcase area are recommended to use a 1:1 aspect ratio so they appear square.
- The website image should be 512 by 512 pixels.
- One image-sizing recommendation provided for website content was approximately 2,000 pixels wide by 750 pixels high.
Website pages, storage, and renewal terms
- R-Web does not limit the number of website pages.
- R-Web provides unlimited storage space.
- Website service renewals can be made for a maximum of two years.
- The post-expiration renewal window is 30 days.
Trial, users, and supported languages
- The R-Web trial period is 14 days.
- The trial system can reject an email address when the number of websites associated with that email exceeds the system's permitted limit.
- R-Web system access is limited to one user. The Premium Package allows one user to log in with one email address, while the Platinum Package allows three users.
