Overview

Managing and displaying products

How To

Adding products and displaying them on the website

  1. In the website editor, click Add Section to add an R-Shop section.
  2. Add the product or shopping-cart section.
  3. Add the products to R-Shop.
  4. Retrieve the products from R-Shop and display them on the website.

Product information is entered in the R-Shop back office and then pulled into the website.

Editing a product image

  1. Open the Product List.
  2. Click the pencil icon for the product.
  3. Select the product's image editing option.
  4. To remove an existing image, click the trash-bin icon for that image.
  5. To add a replacement image, click Upload Image.

Moving a product to another category

  1. Open the product-edit screen by clicking the pencil icon.
  2. Scroll down until the Category section is visible.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the Category section.
  4. Select the new category.
  5. Save the change.

Configuring weight-based shipping charges

  1. Enter the product's weight in the product details.
  2. Open the settings menu using the gear icon.
  3. Open the shipping-charge settings.
  4. Add or select the delivery area, such as domestic delivery.
  5. Click the pencil icon for the delivery-area configuration.
  6. Select the shipping type.
  7. Enter a name for the shipping charge or shipping company.
  8. Select the delivery service being used, such as an express carrier or a postal service.
  9. Select weight-based shipping charges.
  10. Configure the weight-based shipping-charge amounts in the available list.
  11. Add the configured shipping-charge entry.
  12. Confirm the shipping-charge configuration.

Reordering products in a category

  1. Open the category.
  2. Open the product-ordering function.
  3. In the product-ordering view, click and hold a product image and drag it to the desired position.

Setting product prices

  1. Enter the main product price first.
  2. Adjust the prices for the product's individual options afterward.

Enter the product price as the full price including VAT.

Hiding a product

  1. Scroll down to the product display status.
  2. Set the product display status to Hidden.

Adding an R-Shop product

Click New Product.

Viewing an order

  1. Click R-Shop in the upper-right corner of the interface.
  2. Select R-CRM from the window that appears.
  3. Click Orders at the top of the R-CRM interface.
  4. Select an order from the order list to view it.

Displaying existing products as a submenu

When products already exist in R-Shop and need to be displayed as a submenu, select the shopping-cart menu option.

Configuring store email settings

  1. Open R-Shop.
  2. Select Settings from the menu on the left.
  3. Open Store Email settings.

Setting up customer purchases and delivery

  1. Connect the existing R-Shop platform to the new domain.
  2. Give the customer the R-Shop website link or QR code.
  3. The customer adds products to the cart.
  4. The customer pays or transfers payment.
  5. The customer enters the delivery address.
  6. Copy the customer's delivery address from R-Shop into the carrier's system.
  7. Copy the ordered product list into the notes on the carrier's shipping label.

Requesting login access for backend inspection

  1. The relevant team sends a login-access request by email so it can inspect the R-Shop backend system.
  2. Click Accept on the login-access request.

Copying product detail content

  1. Open the product in R-Shop.
  2. Open the product management area.
  3. Open the folder containing the products.
  4. Click the folder to display its products.
  5. Click the product to be used as the source.
  6. Click the pencil icon in the product management section.
  7. Go to the product details section.
  8. Select the product detail content.
  9. Copy the selected product detail content.

Rules & Requirements

Managing products

  • Set a product to Hidden when it should not appear on the website.
  • R-Shop saves a product reorder automatically when the mouse cursor is released.

Copying products

  • Products cannot be copied directly from the product listing page.
  • Open and copy products one at a time.

Using product codes and external integrations

  • Use different product codes for different products, even when options in different products use the same SKU.
  • R-Shop’s SKU system is used only within R-Shop and does not connect to external barcode-scanning or packing systems.
  • R-Shop is not currently connected to TikTok.
  • R-Shop does not currently connect its shipping labels to external carriers.

Managing customer membership and delivery addresses

  • Customers do not need to register as website members to place an order through R-Shop.
  • A customer must be a member to have a delivery address saved for later orders.

Configuring order notifications

  • Order notifications are sent by email when email notification settings have been configured.
  • R-Shop allows one primary email address and four additional email addresses to receive copies of system messages.

Changing an order status

  • Change the order status manually by clicking it.

Selecting a carrier service

  • If the required carrier is not listed, select Other service.
