Overview

Listing and selling products on a website

  • R-Shop is used to list products for sale and add products for a new website.
  • Products can be displayed on a website through a product or shopping-cart section.
  • Products displayed from R-Shop can show product details and prices, let customers add items to a cart, and complete payment.
  • R-Shop supports selling products through the website.

How to

Editing a product image

  1. Open the Product List.
  2. Select the pencil icon for the product.
  3. Select the image edit option.
  4. Click the trash-can icon to remove the existing image.
  5. Click Upload Image to upload a replacement image.

Changing a product’s category

  1. Open the product editor by clicking the product’s pencil icon.
  2. Scroll to the Category section.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the Category section.
  4. Select the new category.
  5. Save the change initially so the product is moved to the selected category.

Configuring weight-based shipping charges

  1. Enter the product’s weight in the product settings.
  2. Open the settings menu and go to Shipping Charges.
  3. Define the delivery area, such as domestic delivery, and add it to the shipping settings.
  4. On the shipping-area page, click the pencil icon to edit the delivery region.
  5. Select the shipping type.
  6. Enter a name for the shipping charge and specify the shipping company or service.
  7. Select the shipping service being used, such as a listed courier or postal service.
  8. If the required carrier is not listed, select Other service.
  9. Set the shipping charge calculation to charge by weight.
  10. Configure the weight-based shipping charges using the available settings.
  11. Add the configured shipping charge and confirm the settings.

Copying content to a new product

  1. Create a new product before copying content into it.
  2. Open product management.
  3. Open the folder containing the existing products.
  4. Select the product whose content will be copied.
  5. Click the pencil icon in the product-management section for that product.
  6. Under Product Details, select and copy the existing product content.
  7. Paste the copied product details into the new product.

Adding products to a website

  1. Add the products to R-Shop.
  2. In the website editor, select Add Section.
  3. Select the product or shopping-cart section.
  4. Pull the products from R-Shop to display them on the website.

Creating a product page menu

  1. Add a menu for the product page.
  2. Set the product menu to use an article-type menu.
  3. Name each menu according to the relevant product.
  4. Select the relevant product from the product selection to display it on the page.
  5. Add product images and descriptions to the page.

Hiding a product from the website

  1. Scroll to the product display status.
  2. Set the product display status to Hidden.

Changing a product’s position within a category

  1. Open the relevant category.
  2. Select Sort Products.
  3. Click and hold the product image, then drag it to the desired position in the product order.

Managing order statuses

  1. Click Shop in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select R-CRM from the window that appears.
  3. Click Orders at the top of the R-CRM interface.
  4. Click an order status manually to update or manage it.

Configuring store email settings

  1. Open R-Shop.
  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu.
  3. Open the Store Email section.
  4. Configure the store email settings.

Using an external carrier system

  1. Copy the customer’s shipping address from R-Shop.
  2. Enter the copied shipping address into the external carrier’s system.
  3. Copy the ordered product list from R-Shop into the notes field of the external carrier’s shipping label.

Connecting R-Shop to a new website domain

  • When changing the website domain, connect the existing R-Shop platform to the new domain.

Using the R-Shop storefront

  1. Access the storefront through a shared website link or QR code.
  2. Add products to the cart.
  3. Complete payment through the storefront.
  4. Enter the shipping address through the storefront.

Troubleshooting

Missing R-Shop product-category option in the website editor

  • If the R-Shop product-category option is missing, the display problem may be related to custom code or the Readyplanet system.
  • Custom code can cause display errors across the entire website rather than on only one page.

Automatically displaying a saved shipping address

  • A returning customer who logs in can have the previously saved shipping address displayed automatically.

Policies and rules

Product codes and external integrations

  • Products in R-Shop should have different product codes from one another.
  • R-Shop SKU data is used only within R-Shop and does not connect to external barcode or packing systems.
  • R-Shop is not currently connected to TikTok.
  • R-Shop does not currently connect to external shipping carriers for shipping-label generation.

Customer registration and saved shipping addresses

  • Customers do not need to register as website members to place an R-Shop order.
  • Only member accounts can save a shipping address for reuse.

Product prices and VAT

  • Product prices entered in R-Shop should already include VAT.

Order email notifications

  • Order notifications are sent by email when the store email settings have been configured.

R-Shop Static URL language

  • An R-Shop Static URL may be written in Thai.

Copying product content

  • R-Shop does not support copying a product directly from the product-listing page.
  • Product content must be copied from an individual product, one product at a time.

Limits and quotas

Email address limits

  • R-Shop supports one primary email address and four additional email addresses for copies of system messages.
