Rules & Requirements
Configuring rates and promotions
- A Bar rate is generally kept unchanged, with promotional discounts applied separately.
- If an entered rate is intended to be the customer's final purchase price rather than a base rate, recalculate the rate instead of applying an additional promotion.
- R-Booking does not support importing pricing data from an Excel file.
Setting promotion payment terms
- A promotion with the payment term set to Default follows the payment term configured for its associated rate.
- Selecting a different payment-term option allows the promotion to use a payment term different from the associated rate.
- The EDC payment term charges the customer's card when the booking is made.
Opening a payment gateway account
- The customer must open the payment gateway account with the payment service provider.
